(Las Vegas) – Today, Steve Yeager, Deputy Public Defender in the Clark County Public Defender’s office, announced his candidacy in Assembly District 9. Steve began working at the public defenders office in 2009 and was an advocate for the office during the 2013 legislative session. Steve was previously an attorney at an international law firm for nearly 5 years, working on complex litigation matters. “Nevada Assembly Democrats are excited to stand behind Steve Yeager in his run for Assembly District 9. Steve has a track record as a hard-worker and consensus builder. Myself and many of my colleagues had the opportunity to work with Steve during the last legislative session and he is a committed workhorse that will be able to work with both parties and bring real solutions to Clark County,” said Speaker of the Assembly Marilyn Kirkpatrick. “I am looking forward to continuing talking with my neighbors and friends in Assembly District 9 about the issues we all face. I am running to make a difference in Carson City to ensure the citizens of Assembly District 9 have a fighter for their interests.
